Moving design. The people flow in the cities of the future

The word \"senseable\" has a double reference: \"Sense - able\", as in \"able to sense\", as well as \"sensible\", or sensitive. Senseable cities are smart cities, with a different take to them. The definition stresses their human, rather than technological, element. \r\nWe can imagine interactive cities that can better communicate and meet the citizens' needs, thanks to the information provided by the world of nets. \r\nSmart mobility, smart networks to connect things, an ever-present cloud: the deepest paradigms are changing, yet their effects can not be managed with a techno-centred approach. Thus, there is room for a humanism of the technological thinking, focussed on simplicity!\r\nWhat this book stresses, is the idea of carefully evaluating how smart and sustainable cities should be developed.
